What to expect
When you contact us, we will consider your reasons for seeking support, your availability, and the expertise and experience of our counsellors to help match you with an appropriate counsellor.
Open edned sessions- There is no set number of sessions available to you. You and your counsellor can review how counselling is progressing and discuss what feels right for you. The first session with your counsellor is an opportunity to get to know eachother a little, for the counsellor to ask some additional questions and for you to work together to begin to identify what you hope to achieve from counselling.
Our approaches include
- Person-Centred Counselling
- Pluralistic/Integrative Counselling
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- DBT Skills
Counsellors may also draw on additional training and skills, including mindfulness and breathwork, creative therapeutic approaches, attachment therapy and specialist trauma training, where appropriate.
